By downloading, installing, or using the Tailora application ("the App") or any related services (collectively "the Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms").
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tailora. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
By registering an account, you explicitly agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Your continued use of Tailora constitutes ongoing acceptance.

Your Account
Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account. Your phone number is your primary identifier on Tailora — you are responsible for maintaining access to it.
Security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, including your password and your transaction PIN. You must notify us immediately at support@tailora.app if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
Tailora will never ask for your password or transaction PIN via WhatsApp, phone, or email. Any such request is fraudulent.
One account per person
Each individual may maintain one Tailora account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, abuse trial periods, or manipulate the platform is prohibited and may result in all accounts being suspended.
Account accuracy
You agree to keep your profile information accurate and up to date. The name on your Tailora account should match the name on your identity documents, as this is required for KYC verification and wallet withdrawals.
The Tailora Service
Tailora provides a mobile business management platform that includes:
- Customer profile and body measurement management
- Order creation, tracking, and lifecycle management
- Payment recording and financial tracking
- Business analytics and dashboard reporting
- Automated WhatsApp and push notification reminders
- A dedicated business wallet powered by Rubies MFB (subject to separate wallet terms)
- A fabric vendor marketplace (when available)
Service availability
We aim to maintain Tailora as a reliable, available service. However, we do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or third-party service failures may occasionally affect availability. We will communicate planned downtime in advance where possible.
Feature changes
Tailora is continuously evolving. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. Where a removal significantly affects core functionality, we will provide reasonable notice.
Wallet & Payments
The Tailora Wallet is powered by Rubies Microfinance Bank, a financial institution licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Use of the wallet is subject to both these Terms and Rubies MFB's own terms and conditions.
KYC verification
To activate wallet features, you must complete identity verification (KYC) using a valid BVN or NIN. This is a regulatory requirement under CBN guidelines. Providing false identity information is a criminal offence under Nigerian law.
Transaction PIN
Your 4-digit transaction PIN is required for all withdrawal requests. You are solely responsible for keeping your PIN confidential. Tailora cannot recover your PIN — if forgotten, you must set a new one using the Change PIN feature in the app. After 3 consecutive wrong PIN entries, your PIN will be locked for 30 minutes.
Withdrawals
- Minimum withdrawal: ₦1,000
- Maximum daily withdrawal: ₦500,000
- Withdrawal fee: ₦25 flat per transaction (₦10 NIBSS NIP fee + ₦15 Tailora service fee)
- You may only withdraw to bank accounts that have been verified as belonging to you via BVN name matching
- Tailora is not responsible for delays caused by the receiving bank's processing times
Incoming payments
Your Tailora wallet account number is provided solely for receiving payments from your customers. You are responsible for communicating your account details accurately to your customers. Tailora is not liable for payments sent to incorrect account numbers.
Fees
Tailora absorbs the cost of receiving payments (0.5% collection fee, capped at ₦15 per transaction). We do not charge for KYC verification or wallet creation. The only fee charged to you is the ₦25 flat withdrawal fee described above.
All financial transactions conducted through the Tailora Wallet are subject to CBN regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) laws. Suspicious transaction patterns may be reported to relevant authorities as required by law.
Your Data & Content
You retain full ownership of all data you input into Tailora — including your customer profiles, measurements, orders, and business records. Tailora does not claim any ownership over your business data.
By using Tailora, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Tailora service to you. We do not use your data for any other purpose.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for ensuring you have the right to store your customers' personal information on the platform. We recommend informing your customers that you use Tailora to manage their data.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Tailora only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use Tailora to conduct, facilitate, or conceal any illegal activity
- Use the wallet to launder money or process payments on behalf of third parties who have not completed KYC
- Attempt to access, probe, or disrupt Tailora's servers, databases, or infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Tailora application
- Create accounts using false identity information
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or extract data from Tailora
- Share your account credentials with other individuals or businesses

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, and may be reported to law enforcement where applicable.
Intellectual Property
Tailora and all its components — including the app, website, logo, design, code, features, and content produced by us — are owned by Tailora and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Tailora application on your personal device solely for the business management purposes described in these Terms. This licence does not include the right to:

- RUUT — WhatsApp messaging API for notifications and OTPs
- Firebase (Google) — push notifications and cloud infrastructure
Each of these services operates under its own terms and privacy policy. Tailora is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or policies of these third-party providers. Outages or failures in these third-party services may temporarily affect Tailora features.
Disclaimers
Tailora is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties — express or implied — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
- Any data stored in Tailora will be preserved indefinitely without risk of loss
- The Service will meet every specific business requirement you have
- Results obtained from using Tailora will be accurate or reliable in all circumstances
Tailora is a business management tool, not a financial advisor, legal advisor, or accounting service. Any business decisions you make based on data in Tailora are your sole responsibility.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Tailora's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Tailora in the 12 months preceding the claim. Since Tailora is currently free to use, this limit is ₦0 for core app features.
In no event shall Tailora be liable for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Loss of data or corruption of data
- Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages
- Damages arising from third-party service failures (Rubies MFB, RUUT, Firebase)

Termination
By you
You may stop using Tailora and delete your account at any time by contacting support@tailora.app. Before deleting your account, ensure you have withdrawn any balance from your Tailora Wallet, as we cannot process wallet withdrawals after account deletion is initiated.
By Tailora
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have:
- Violated any provision of these Terms
- Provided false identity information during registration or KYC
- Used the Service for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purposes
- Engaged in behaviour that threatens the security or integrity of Tailora or its users
If your account is terminated due to a Terms violation, any wallet balance may be frozen pending investigation and will be released in compliance with applicable financial regulations.
Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to use Tailora ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability) will continue to apply.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Tailora shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
We encourage you to contact us at support@tailora.app to resolve any dispute informally before initiating formal legal proceedings.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as Tailora evolves or as required by law. When we make material changes:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- We will notify active users via WhatsApp or push notification
- For significant changes, we will display an in-app prompt requiring acknowledgement before you can continue using Tailora
If you continue to use Tailora after revised Terms take effect, you are deemed to have accepted the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
